In lawsuits, it doesn’t matter what you can PROVE to bring a suit that can cripple both Uber and the driver.
It’s what you can reasonably claim. All these parents can claim this was suspicious and dangerous.
I can only imagine the raft of lawsuits heading not just towards Uber but Sheriff Israel, the deputies who waited outside, and the entire Sheriff Office, and the FBI, and the individuals who did not pass on info.
It is so insane it cannot be merely stupidity or incompetence. I can only conclude “they let it happen.”
