Boy, are you going to catch some flak with that comment! But I suppose I’ll catch some flak too. Because I agree with you.

Here’s the way I see it. Trump’s comments will win over few new voters. People who don’t like Oprah’s politics are already solid for Trump.

But then there are the blue-dog Democrats. Those folks went for Trump in 2016. And many of them think Oprah is just dandy. Trump’s remark will push them just a bit further into the D camp come 2020.

I wouldn’t be stirring up a fuss if Trump had won by a landslide in 2016. But he didn’t. If 100,000 votes nationwide had gone the other way...disaster.
