I mean, mon, the problem was built in. We had generations that knew nothing but slavery and we’re expecting them to face it nobly like they were black George Washingtons. Ludicrous expectation. Some kind of mentored “40 acres and a mule” program might have worked, but we can’t rewind history and see.
Generations of many other people were slaves too hand some still are today. Africans have deserted their families, most are lazy, and most are unable to compete with whites and Asians in a free enterprise system.
