Gasoline is flammable, Kerosene and diesel fuel are combustible, big difference. Never use gas to start fires. That is the reason for the new stupid gas cans.

Yeah. The fumes combust with gasoline. I’ve actually done this for my grandkids: I pour gasoline on a fire we’re about to start and then explain to them how the fumes are spreading as I talk even though we can’t see them. I then strike a match and throw it in and the fire “explodes all around the fire and our ankles. Scares the crap out of them but is harmless. Lesson learned, though. :)
