The entire point of the film is to make Africans look intelligent. I just observe their cities and countries. I don’t need a movie to show otherwise.
The lamentable thing to me is the “Vibranium” and its role as Giver of Technological Prowess. In the first place, it’s just a fantastical idea, and in fact inane.
In the second place, what are the virtues required to exploit it? I think this is a murky area, but I guess the idea is they must have been pretty smart to do so. OTOH, all that is evident is that they have possession of it, and know very well how to keep that possession. ( Haven’t seen it! so dunno ... )
Contemplation of all this puts me in mind of an illustration in my book, THE BOY SCIENTIST, of Newton, “who surpassed all men of genius” , making doll furniture for his young lady friends as a youth.
