I love science fiction and stopped watching Dr. Who when the married lizard lesbian had to save the world by kissing her wife for over a minute. (True story)
I have never watched a Star Trek Diversity, I mean discovery. I’ve also never watched “Shaft” or “Blackula.”

Shaft is a low budget movie. But still worth a see.
Superfly was a better flick, imo.

(The above is not a statement of fact. It is either satire or opinion. Or both.)

I gave up on Dr. WHO, in the late 1970’s. Give me Patrick Troughton or William Hartnell, any day.

At the video store-—
“I’d like to rent a subdued black movie, please.”
“How about Shaft?”
“Shaft is subdued?”
“Well, it has a second banana, you know, a sub-dude.”

"Star Trek Diversity"
I LOL'd when I read that.
Laughter is much appreciated on a Monday morning.
I've watched almost every episode of all the previous series' multiple times and seen all the movies at least once.
I haven't seen a single episode of Discovery and so far I see no reason for that to change. It sounds like Discovery makes the Abrams stuff almost make sense by comparison.

I’ve never watched the new Star Trek but I actually love Blacula and the sequel.
