You got that right. I love the way these gun grabbers think Congress can override the 2nd amendment. Or 90 million gun owners.
The latest population estimate is 327 million Americans.
According to a recent CBS poll 36% of American households own a gun.
36% of 327 million = 118 million.
Given that it's a CBS poll and gun-owning "households" often have more than one gun owner in residence I think it's fair and conservative to round up to 120 million.

Ok...so let’s stipulate that, for whatever political and practical reasons, that the US Congress passes a Bill that effectively bans AR style rifles. The bill prohibits the further manufacture, import, sale or use of such firearms.
Furthermore, the bill prohibits the same for .223 and 5.56 ammo.
Finally, the bill mandates that every AR style weapon be turned in by a certain date...or else they will be searched for and confiscated.
The bill goes to Trump.
He pocket vetoes it.
Congress over rides his veto and the bill is now a law.
What happens next?
When does the shooting start?
SCOTUS slaps it down immediately?
Who has to sue who?
If it all stands and “some” turn their arms in, then what happens to the Militia?
What scenario is most plausible?
