I am not male, but female who’s lived abroad (UK/Russia). And some truth here and there...but NOT #10.
While I strongly disagree with "his" definition of American exceptionalism, sadly many folks have no idea what that really means . . . the remaining comments have a pretty good foundation of truth to it. Many many expats are finding a way to build a life outside of America for the reasons he states. Sadly for me, I seem to be too old and ignorant how to do, but thats on me.
Re the women and political correctness and all that BS . . . Yup we agree on that.
#10 should be reworded “Everything about America is not the best in the world.” If a person’s values align with America’s weaknesses, then some other country may be better. For most people, America as a whole is better any other nation.
