I'm suggesting that if you MUST argue with "trolls" do it away from the main Q thread so that we can keep it clear and concentrate on actual productive Q discussion and analysis. Constant bickering and off topic discussion tends to drive off people interested in the topic.

This is quite possible. Many people have short attention spans and, absent immediate results, tend to move on.
and are finding other threads much more info-intensive.
They may, but they would be wrong. These threads dig deep and reveal research and information not found on other threads, if you ask me. Going on other threads and reading comments sometimes makes me feel like I'm much more informed about what is actually going on.
Maybe that sounds elitist and arrogant, but it's my honest opinion. And I'm not trying to say I'm smarter than anybody else. I'm not. There are many geniuses here, a large amount of them are on the Q threads. So many of them have expert knowledge. I'm must a big dummy that likes to absorb knowledge about what I feel is important. And I consider my country important.
I would much prefer to have ALL the Freeper geniuses working together. We could get much accomplished that way.

Yes, I can see how you would feel that way. However, to me, this is not personal in any way. This is bigger than "elitism" or ego. It seems a lot of the "trolls" are making this some kind of personal thing. Or a "FreeRepublic" thing.
It is not. It is maybe about the biggest thing this country and our people have ever faced. Why squabble over personal issues or worry about "face."
