You know those crime movies and TV shows where the authorities are on the trail of an obsessed, mentally deranged subject?
They somehow find the place where this subject lives and they kick down the door.
On the walls are dozens of newspaper clippings and photographs and magazine articles with thumbtacks and yarn connecting different objects together in a huge, intricate, major time-consuming, jumble.
That's what this reminds me of.
I served on military staffs, from Numbered Air Force level to the Pentagon (including the Crisis Action Team) CAT. We used to put together the same intricate details, organizational charts, and timelines of the enemy.
