I think it was Bannon that was duped by the fake IDs. That’s why he has been talking to Mueller. They probably showed him a bunch of evidence that shows he was working with Russians...so Bannon started talking. But he doesn’t have any real dirt on Trump unless he lies to save his own ass.
Mueller is dirty enough to say, “Yes we believe you didn’t know they were Russians. But it’s the jury that needs to believe you. And in the mean time you’ll be arrested, humiliated, and run the risk of serious jail time if the jury doesn’t believe you. Just tell us that Trump knew they were Russians and your legal problems go away.”
Bannon is a distinct possibility. He strikes me as an "any means necessary" kind of guy.
But I don't think he told Mueller anything remotely incriminating. I recall reading an article recently where the Mueller team was pissed off at him and considering holding him in contempt for not answering certain questions by claiming "executive privilege." They said he only answered questions that had been provided before hand. In other words, he didn't fall for the ambushes.
Maybe I misinterpreted that, however.
Just for shits & giggles, article says Bannon has been meeting with Meuller and is talking. That has been on here for a few days. Today’s article says Adam Schiff believes Bannon will be charged for Contempt for refusing to give “more” information to Meuller. Bannon is claiming Presidential Immunity(?).
So Meuller is chasing Bannon and Bannon won’t talk. How does this equate to him giving up information? It doesn’t. It is Media BS
