Does the fact that some blacks owned slaves absolve any slave owner or society that condoned slavery from the abomination of the institution of slavery?

England first. France - through their own very bloody revolutions. America later, but before all of Africa, the MidEast, Asia.

It was the white, Christian, European cultures that fought to END slavery; that were the FIRST to condemn it and outlaw it!

Guilt is forever? Who in America, not of a sick religion or mentally imbalanced has been a slave owner in the 150 years? How much blood does it take wash away the stain, the Civil war wasn't enough for you? Do you weep and suffer over every bad thing that happened in history that you had nothing to do with?

I have no connection whatsoever to Black slavery in the Americas or anywhere else on Earth, but also I am not going to lay continuous blame and outrage or monetary liability on someone because of what their ancestors may or may not have done at a time that society was different than ours.

Hell let's do what the liberals want, let's throw out the Constitution, it was conceived and written in a time that was socially different than the America of today.

No, but what’s your REAL point?

Neither slaves nor a slave condoning society exist anymore (at least in this country). The” society” you’re talking about is long gone and a huge price was paid to banish it.

The generation that allowed slavery paid the price for it, blacks and whites. 600,000 died in America's most costly war to free the slaves and put the country back together. A child is not held guilty for his father's crimes? The children of Black Slave owners should not perpetually be in debt for the crimes of their fathers. I harbor no ill-will towards the Muslims for enslaving my Slavic ancestors. I also hold no ill-will for the English who enslaved my Irish ancestors.

Blacks problems in America today are self-inflicted. ~80% single parent households have consigned them to poverty. The old slave owners were Democratic Party members. Today, the Democratic Party has figured out how to get these poor blacks back on the "plantation" by using government handouts to secure their votes.
