...instead of padding the middle of the steering wheel with air bags you should put a spear point on the center of the steering wheel. Those old rigid steering columns WERE spear points when you hit them at 60+ MPH.

Those old rigid steering columns WERE spear points when you hit them at 60+ MPH. True - the only problem being, they didn’t LOOK like spear points, so people didn’t drive accordingly.
