Amazon’s purchase of Whole Foods was a HUGE MISTAKE!!! The food industry is a different kind of beast Amazon has NO EXPERIENCE in!!! Amazon however should be able to absorb the losses and will also be a HUGE write off for them!!!! In the short run though people will lose their jobs!!!
As I understand it, Amazon took just-in-time delivery to the extreme with Whole Foods; lots of empty shelves. Sad.
