The Smithsonian Institute has just revealed an official portrait of former President Barack Obama in Washington, DC.
Just before dramatically unveiling the former president's portrait, which depicts him sitting in a garden amid green ivy, the Institute presented a portrait of former first lady Michelle Obama, and it looks like it definitely left a huge impression on her.
The portrait was greeted with gasps and applause.
"Wow, wow," Obama said in awe once the portrait was unveiled. She gave a short speech afterward.
"Can we just say wow again?" she said. "I have to tell you that as I stand here today with all of you and look at this amazing portrait that will hang with so many iconic figures, I am overwhelmed to say the least."

WTF??? Is that Obama’s “official” portrait? With all those flowers? Its horrible. Its an embarrassment.
has to be—no way that’s their official portraits—hillarious and sad at the same time...
I can’t say I care for either painting, but the most important thing is that the subject likes it, and it seems the Obamas do.

I thought Michelle kept telling Barak not to get lost in the weeds. Guess he didn’t listen. Is this portrait for real?

They say “Class always tells”, and so does a lack of it.
I’d say Barry’s flowery, out-of-place portrait symbolizes his lack of interest in governing and doing his job.
And as for Mooch’s...the “artist” gave her a head transplant. Looks nothing like her. Also, the work is so amateurish, it’s exactly what a high school kid with a modicum of drawing talent would turn out.
Ick.
He looks like he’s sitting on the POT, surrounded by the poison ivy... or marijuana.
All he needs is a magazine in his hand.
I wonder how these compare in size to other “official” presidential portraits? Are these to be installed in the White House somewhere?
