Here are Barack and Michelle Obama's official portraits

The Smithsonian Institute has just revealed an official portrait of former President Barack Obama in Washington, DC.

Just before dramatically unveiling the former president's portrait, which depicts him sitting in a garden amid green ivy, the Institute presented a portrait of former first lady Michelle Obama, and it looks like it definitely left a huge impression on her.

The portrait was greeted with gasps and applause.

"Wow, wow," Obama said in awe once the portrait was unveiled. She gave a short speech afterward.

"Can we just say wow again?" she said. "I have to tell you that as I stand here today with all of you and look at this amazing portrait that will hang with so many iconic figures, I am overwhelmed to say the least."

Her left arm is bizarrely long.

If you didn’t tell me, I’d not know it was a portrait of Michelle Obama.

I’d also think it’s a drawing if a white woman.

Interesting pose. Arms crossed, with left hand and arm over right, no symbolic surprise there.

Seated, surrounded by and soon hidden by ivy, an often poisonous, covering plant that eventually overgrows and conceals bare ground. Yep, that sounds about right, too.

From out of nowhere to suddenly a two-tern POTUS here to fundamentally transform our world... and all with a fake birth certificate?!? Yeah buddy, reality truly is stranger than fiction.

Okay... so, now that we’ve somehow miraculously survived that 8 year obamanation, who is that guy? No, really, who or what is that guy???

I hope and have faith that we, the people, will soon know his truth,
and then we can finally and officially adjust our reality accordingly.

In planning ahead for that shocking, historic moment, I realize it will take some effort to both be kind to his now true believers and to also not say “I told you so!”

I am more than ready for that challenge!

Chuck Close. Impressive body of work and skill. He’s also an accomplished printmaker. The little web pics don’t do his work justice, those portrait paintings are huge!

Should of put it on an iGadget and hung the iGadget on a wall in the deep sink closet beside the janitorial supplies and toilet brushes.

Obama in the garden. How obvious does it get? It's his official portrait.

Gen 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made; And he said to the woman, Has God said, you shall not eat of every tree of the garden:

Followup, thus pinging those I pinged to the background post of Feb 7th in which I formatted the text of where Obama is the serpent:

Obama 'wants to know everything'

Tell you another weird thing. A while back I had a very detailed dream (I've got the date and details written down somewhere but haven't looked it up yet) that concerned the Exodus.

Some highlights from memory... I was looking at an airport (view from just outside the fence), watching planes land that I knew in the dream were Israelites making the Exodus, and they were approaching this airport.

The problem with the planes (three of them IIRC, one after another) is that they were crashing just before landing, because what looked like planes at first, would then morph into odd geometric flat shapes with weird designs that would then plunge to earth. They looked just like the images on Michael's dress.

I've had many dreams where it seemed to me in the dreams themselves, that the planes were crashing *because* I was watching them. It's been maybe a couple years since I've had one of those dreams, but the sense was so vivid and disturbing that in real life when I see planes I relive that odd feeling in the dreams, because the memories of them come right back.

Back to this dream...

In it, a friend who was watching this with me, stated that just a few days earlier he was in his little rowboat along the same fence (on the airport side of the fence there was a narrow calm river as an additional divide, with trees along its banks), fishing as he often did in the same place.

He said the water became extremely agitated and disturbed, bubbling up as if there was an evil force in it, intent upon drowning him, and never in all his experience had he encountered that. He managed to get out. He was telling me this to let me know that I was most certainly not causing the crashes by looking at the planes, that there was obviously some evil present that was causing it, same one that had recently tried to drowned him.

Anyway, it was coupled with another dream either the previous day or the next (the day before I think), when I was looking at the same place, and I watched a little red commuter plane crash there. It was all red.

It had nose dived, nothing but a charred spot remaining on the tarmac. However, a middle-aged man with a neat beard was in the midst of the obliteration, sitting there stunned. Nothing left but him (and his seat), and he was perfectly fine, so he got up and dusted himself off, incredulous at what he had just experienced, that he was the only person, and not even injured. No debris, no remnant of anything, just the charred spot. This was where the dream ended.

Now I remember that the dream I first described occurred on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, 7 Adar I, 5776, because when I looked it up [at that time], I saw that it was the date of the death of Moses. The friend in describing his boat had said he had owned it for 40 years, thus the connection to the dream and the Exodus at the time, and now my memory trigger.

Well that sure went in a weird direction. Just recalling from memory so lots I inadvertantly left out. That dress brought it all back.

The post from last week was in the context of the Exodus as well, where the serpent appears in the text. Kind of like the evil force at the airport where the Israelites where just about to land after making their Exodus.

On it goes. Been two years. I don't remember having any more dreams of planes crashing after that. I had had many over the couple years before that.

Carry on..

They forgot to put unicorns in that cartoon-character Obama picture. And did Moochie steal that bed quilt from the White Hut?

Damn! those are fugly paintings. I wonder how much we had to pay for that crap.

"...but the most important thing is that the subject likes it, and it seems the Obamas do."

I'm assuming that the Obozos had to make a final approval of the artist's cartoonist's rendering.
