In this case, I am quite confident that Her Perkiness learned all she needed to know about Dutch speedskating one Sunday night in the 60’s, when Little Katie saw “Hans Brinker or The Silver Skates” on Walt Disney. I am absolutely sure that is where her comment came from. And that is journalism for you in the 21st century.
