To my knowledge, this case has not yet been adjudicated in Alabama, and it appears that they are handling it as a misdemeanor. So for now, he is not going to be charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm. Give him time, he won’t disappoint. Still waiting for his “This is not who I am” speech.
From what I have seen, he is in a protected coddled class.
