Voochie, it’s sad that to think that you don’t understand your own military people. I have had over 40 years working with and for our services - including 17 months in combat and I have learned first- hand that they are the best of all of us.
I have no idea what your background is, but how can you not celebrate the courage and sacrifices of our young people? Don’t you have anyone in your family or neighbors who served?
P.S: Sometimes your sheepdogs have to seem like wolves - much more effective.

I certainly celebrate heroism and feats of arms. BUT this parade thing is a sign of decline and smacks of desperation. Its in bad taste for America.
If it was a pure vets parade honoring only vets from WWII, then Korea, then SEA, then Iraq I, then ....
