Because, if everyone actually knew what was going on, all the thieves getting a paycheck from a government, down to the dog catcher, would be wearing a tar 'n feathers tux, if they weren't dangling from a street light...

The ‘average’ total annual compensation for federal employees is $127,259. For private sector employees the average is $70,764. This is ridiculous.

This is why the government is going to kill cryptocurrency once they figure out that it will too easy to trace all the tax dollars to their friends and families bank accounts.
