So he's seriously asserting that had European nations not colonized Africa, the people of that continent would have discovered deposits of a fictional element (Vibranium), and used it to build societies more advanced than any on Earth?

Everyone needs to lighten up, it is a Fantasy movie. It sounds like many a story that I have read about alternate histories.
