He’s shaping the battlefield. Sure, he could have arrested most of these seditionists long ago, on charges of perjury or govt. malfeasance. But to prove a wide-ranging conspiracy is much harder, and requires leaving the subjects enough rope to hang themselves. Why do you think prosecuting the mob takes years and years. This will be done in record time, but for some, soon is not soon enough.
Where do you think all these stories to Hannity, Sara Carter, etc. are all coming from? They are not incidental leaks. They are officially sanctioned leaks that are painting a narrative to bring the public up to speed on what must and will be done, at the right moment.
...and I would add to my earlier comment that, to prove a conspiracy is necessary for getting the big fish.
