As I’ve said before, uncertainty is good - capitalism without failure is like religion without sin (and its consequences). The excessive leverage and speculation that have led to the recent surge in stock prices needs to be reined in. Margin debt is at 2x the level of 2010. The economy certainly isn’t twice the size.
