We are on our second dwarf hamster. They only live about 2 years or so. So she probably would have had to say good-bye to it soon regardless.

I really like them - which surprises me. This one has quite a personality. I'll be sad when she dies.

She is not my "emotional support hamster" but I wouldn't be able bring myself to flush her down a toilet just to make a flight. The screaming hamsters would haunt me the rest of my days.
