I’m guessing Trump can just do what I did - search for “Patriotic High School Football Team Wins”:
“On Friday, the pre-game walkout by the Sherman E Burroughs High School [California] football team consisted of each player carrying an American flag onto the field while Lee Greenwood’s God Bless the USA played in the background.”
I bet those kids would be thrilled to visit the White House.
I don’t think Trump invites teams to the White House as a personal favor to himself - he does it officially as President in a gesture to honor the teams on behalf of the nation - it’s pretty ironic that those trying to make big names for themselves by protesting how poorly their grievance-group has been treating by the country would reject an opportunity to actually go and receive national recognition and praise - I think those who can’t show a bit of graciousness and respect by putting aside their gripes for a few hours to accept such recognition and praise, and/or are too ignorant to even understand what it’s all about, embarrass themselves......
