One of the boards I visit has a feature where the person who starts the thread can ban trolls from that thread. I wish FR did. Or an ignore feature.
I have quit reading the Q posts past the first few because I don’t have the patience or the time to wade through all of the troll posts. They seem to seek out the Q threads and fill them with arguments. Talk about a waste of bandwidth.

One of the main purposes of these kinds of trolls is to stop the discussion, make it all about “THEM” to drive people away from reading the actual topic discussion, and maybe even get so much contention going that people get banned, or the thread shut down.
The best way, or only way, to stop this is to STOP REPLYING TO THOSE WHOSE SOLE PURPOSE IS TO DISRUPT THE THREAD.
If NO ONE REPLIES TO THEM they will eventually stop.
The FakeNews tonight is ridiculous ... now going after Gen. Kelly (since he’ll be the one communicating things of import), this parade story (both 2 days now?) and they’re loving Omarosa. How + Where + Why did these “stories” enter the picture? Fortunately it’s like taking a knife to a gun fight but the MSM is taking on an extra load for deep state at this point, tonight ...
True enough. But it will take all of us putting them 100% on ignore. And their initial response may be worse.

I tried that. And suggested that. But when 30+ posts out of 50 is fantasywriter, Strac6, etc. I give up. When they hit the threads at post #3 it’s obvious they have an agenda to shut down the discussion.
I don’t know if they are deep state or pedophiles or just paid by them but they devote an enormous amount of time and energy to insuring that no one on FR learns anything about Q.
Q is a topic that I am very interested in and have been following since last October. I don’t have an unlimited amount of time though, and I can read his posts and see discussion on other boards and donate there where I don’t have to try to slog through all the harassment.
Dealing with reading 8chan is easier than dealing with these guys and their personal insults.
I think ignoring them is a very good idea. I know I dd not do that today. However, my reasonable posts were met with “don’t contact me again”. I continued to harp on my time being wasted with her flame war. I believe I was the only one to be asked to quit messaging her, even though I was polite and nice. She has no problem with people who might offend, but a real problem with my being rational.

Qx, his mother, granddad, blood dad, step-dad et al were fiercely hostile to religious hypocrisy, particularly. LOL. We can all be somewhat hypocritical. It gets annoying when it's so chronic and brazenly in one's face.

He's the mod for that forum and doesn't tolerate trolls plaguing the dialogue.
Though the more robust postings etc. about Q-Anon that are more up-to-date, tend to be on FR. Qx just posts 1-3 more interesting ones—usually 1-2 a day on the one long thread.

I don't want to bother Jim about it, because the man doesn't need the aggravation. Also, I agree that the strategy of the trolls is to shut down the threads and/or get them locked (and they have already been successful doing so on past threads).
But we may have to appeal to Jim if this keeps up. His decision.
You really should go back and read how this all started. I posted a comment that I had come across in a pro-Q discussion. It wasn’t negative and it wasn’t phrased negatively. But immediately all these people who are now complaining started to name-call and slur, etc. They went haywire. It’s right there in the thread.
As I mentioned, no one explained what was so terrible about my opening comment. That’s bc there was nothing terrible about it. It was merely used as a pretext to start the attack.
I did also cite one of Q’s direct quotes: “POTUS is our savior”. It infuriates them that I don’t simply sweep it under the rug. The mere fact that I call attention to it makes me a Bad Person. Then, since I am a Bad Person, all their nastiness is justified.
It becomes a mob attack, and then everyone piles on. The purpose is to ‘cleanse’ Q threads of any skeptics. That’s the only thing that will satisfy them. Why they don’t at least try to make the threads Caucus only is a mystery.
I have posted that question previously, because it interests me and I’m curious about it. You’re the first to respond. Your answer is doubtless as good as any. Thank you.

Not easy but the only way. There are Trolls everywhere in life that enjoy mixing it up.
And if you comment DONT COMMENT TO THEM. Their name should NEVER be in your To: field.
If you do you are enabling the Troll.
Here is a story. Some years ago there was a theory which was presented as proven fact. The *facts* claimed by the theory were that Malcolm X and Valerie Saruff are Obama’s biological parents.
MalVal, as it was called, had a small but passionate—and extraordinarily vicious—set of believers. Since they had no actual facts on which to base their claims, their MO was a simple one: attack and attempt to destroy anyone who posed logical and/or factual questions about MalVal.
The pack-mob style attacks that resulted were very effective. The MalValers succeeded in driving any and all opposition off their threads; they created a de facto Caucus.
After that MalVal died. There was no point to it. With no facts or evidence they could never prove their case, and with no more dissenters to beat the snot out of they lost their purpose for existing.
The Q-believers must imagine this will never happen to them. They have lots of facts and evidence, and new Q drops are coming all the time.
But it will happen. Theories like this only thrive when they’re beating the living daylights out of dissenters. As soon as they ‘win,’ attrition sets in. Their goal and purpose get fuzzier and fuzzier. To quote a phrase, the thrill is gone.
