At my 50th the women looked pretty good and most of the guys were unrecognizable. The guy I had a major crush on was hideous and married to a major plain Jane.
At my husband’s 50 the women just gushed over this one guy who was as arrogant as hell. He was dead 2 months later.

I'd imagine more than a few losers obsessed with high school because it was the pinnacle of their lives would show up for every last one of them.
They probably just don't see the point in going to a reunion where they're expected to try to act friendly with self-important a-holes who just view them as losers.
