Hilarious vignette !
That being said, I am surprised at all of the negative comments here about class reunions. It almost seems that most posters had a very bad high school experience.
There were 927 people in my high school class.
I can count on one hand the one’s I would be at all interested in seeing again.
I agree - a lot of bad high school memories - on what began as a humorous thread.
As for me, I don’t hate the people I went to school with. I simply don’t have anything in common with them anymore. The only thing in common in the first place was geographical proximity. There are a few I see from time to time in town, and when we talk, it’s good. But the vast majority? Whatever.

That beats NO high school experience, I guess.
I was pulled out of school after 9th grade. Hurricane Camille had kicked our butts and I was needed on the farm.
“It will only be one year” turned into forever.
Last week I saw a fella from the school days. He is in charge of the next reunion. Wanted my address.
I reminded him I never graduated, he said it didn’t matter, I would have.
I just may go.
Define bad high school experience. I thought I was hot shoot in high school. I only learned later that no, I was an abused kid. I didnt seek popularity but I was extremely confident and secure for all the wrong reasons. High school boys were 99% so beneath me, I felt. I thought I was more mature than everyone there with my double life. What an idiot I was.
