Some are fake/misrepresented. I don't recall there being mountains at Normandy. The German soldier crying is a screenshot from the movie
The BridgeI'm doubtful about the boy wearing the oversized uniform.

“Eastern Beer Only” in the bar photo? I guess the Western beer was of lower quality.

One picture is from a movie, so NOT historical. The kid in the trench being told to toughen up, is from the German movie
"The Bridge" (Die Bruke):

A Normandy Beach landing photo they don't show in textbooks - Brave women of the Red Cross arriving in 1944 to help the injured troops, WWII. No snowflakes in that picture.

Library hidden in a cave, a unique repository of ancient manuscripts known as the Library Cave. A hidden cache of 50,000 books and rolls dating from ca. 500 to 1002 AD that were deemed heretical and hidden in the cave since the early 11th century. Dark Age porn stash?

I never knew the Red Cross ladies landed like that. And love NYC pics with the carriages- the streets must have been a mess!
