Gowdy said that judges do not do independent investigations. They make their determination upon the information given to them. That’s why there are so many innocent people in jail and why so many guilty people are on the streets.

So then a FISA request can be crooked and the judge wouldn't know.

And what is the method for the public to eventually find out?
