There are some strictures already in place. Have been for sometime. Yet, demand exceeds capacity, or will soon...

I’ve looked at satellite views of the property and often wondered what their future plans were.

Limit to KIA and MOH.
There has to be some restriction.
The national cemeteries are still available.

“start with McCain”
Why wait?
Should have been done, on way home from Nam1

Rock Creek Park Golf Course, East Potomac Park Golf Course and Langston Golf Course are all .gov golf courses. They would all make fine cemeteries.

I wonder about all cemeteries running out of space. Our little local one is rapidly filling up. There are buried bodies all over the countryside as well and many are in forgotten graves and graveyards.

If they bury Juan there, they will not have to add a mens restroom when they expand the acreage.

Arlington National Cemetery has never been a honest custodian. They were stacking vets like cordwood in graves a few years ago.

I have wondered if that was not happening.
It is really morbid but I have wondered about vertical burial in tubes and drilled holes to save space as an alternative to cremation.

PS, vertical burial in drilled holes would facilitate laying to rest those who are so crooked they must be screwed into the ground.

Arlington National Cemetery considers options as it nears capacity. Suggestion... The UN building, NYC.
Two serious problems solved with one decision.

True. Some of the ol’ vets were so tough, they had to hammer them into the ground. Back, when the ships were made of wood, and the men were made of steel.

Limit to KIA and MOH. There has to be some restriction. The national cemeteries are still available.Restrict military internment to active duty death and POW
Plus The top 5 medal holders as it has been
(1) Medal of Honor.
(2) Distinguished Service Cross (Air Force Cross or Navy Cross).
(3) Distinguished Service Medal.
(4) Silver Star.
(5) Purple Heart.
Push for cremated remains instead of burial, high rise columbariums maybe. They'll figure it out or run out of room.
To: Sequoyah101
That would be the politicians.
To: Sequoyah101
Currently, IIRC, it’s mostly restricted to officers, with a few exceptions.
I dislike that restriction. I like your idea much better. Death and heroism and service have nothing to do with rank.

Take down non burial memorials, take out sidewalks, take out roads. That’s it. See Calvary Cemetery in Queens NY.
