It just might be that after the whistle was blown Snowden realized his life wasn’t worth a plug nickel. Now, this might seem reasonable even at face value, which it is. Removing the one who saw all of the evidence is to remove a possible liability.

I just came back to this thread and saw your reply. I’m impressed with the way you pulled the “CMC” initials out of my response to use in this ruse.

After I post this reply I am going to try and figure out your means and methods of acquiring this tidbit of CIA history. Thanks for taking the time for creating some fun.
