My dear husband is not looking over my shoulder on this thread, thank goodness. Our first and only RV trip ended at the Mississippi River when he got off the highway and explained he couldn’t cross the bridge in a bus. It was too high and the guard rail looked like a curb. I didn’t believe him until we ended up in an RV site for a month watching soybeans grow. It was very calming. And we made it back home VERY slowly.
They have a port authority who will drive your vehicle across the bridge for you. That one is the Mighty Mac. One one side of it is Lake Huron and on the other Lake Michigan.
