How the Clintons Sold Out U.S. National Interests to the Putin Regime
National Review ^ | Spring 2017 | Deroy Murdock

The shadiest deal that the Clintons hatched with Russia is called Uranium One. Frank Giustra, a Canadian mining mogul and major Clinton Foundation donor, led a group of investors in an enterprise called Uranium One. On June 8, 2010, Rosatom, the Russian State Atomic Energy Corporation, announced plans to purchase a 51.4 percent stake in the Canadian company, whose international assets included some 20 percent of America’s uranium capacity.

Because this active ingredient in atomic reactors and nuclear weapons is a strategic commodity, this $1.3 billion deal required the approval of the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS). Secretary of State Clinton was one of nine federal department and agency heads on that secretive panel.

Russia’s record of transferring dangerous materials and technologies to rogue regimes, such as those in Iran and Syria, is very troubling,” Representative Ileana Ros-Lehtinen of Florida, wrote to CFIUS’s then-chairman, Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner.

On June 29, 2010, three weeks after Rosatom proposed to Uranium One, Bill Clinton keynoted a seminar staged by Renaissance Capital in Moscow, a reputedly Kremlin-controlled investment bank that promoted this transaction. Renaissance Capital paid Clinton $500,000 for his one-hour speech.

While CFIUS evaluated Rosatom’s offer, "Clinton Cash" author Peter Schweizer observed, “a spontaneous outbreak of philanthropy among eight shareholders in Uranium One” began.

Hillary Clinton also favored Skolkovo, an “innovation city” near Moscow.

By 2012, Skolkovo boasted 28 “Key Partners” in the U.S., Europe, and Russia. Among these major supporting organizations, three-fifths had donated or pledged funds to the Clinton Foundation or paid speaking fees to Bill Clinton.

According to From Russia with Money, an August 2016 study by the Government Accountability Institute, these 17 “Key Partner” entities donated between $6.5 million and $23.5 million to the Clinton Foundation.

That's just the excerpt. There's also records proving the Clintons banking off a multi-million $ dollar deal made between Boeing and Rostech , the Kremlin-owned plane making company behind the airline "Aeroflot."

Also Rosavia: “We’re delighted that a new Russian airline, Rosavia, is actively considering the acquisition of Boeing aircraft. And this is a shameless pitch for Rosavia,” Clinton said at Moscow’s Boeing Design Center.

“Clinton did not point out that, to secure the donation, the State Department had set aside ethics guidelines that first prohibited solicitations of Boeing and then later permitted only a $1 million gift from the company..."

__________

In March 6, 2009, during a trip to Geneva, she presented Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov a small, red button. Hillary thought it was emblazoned with the Russian word for “reset.” Her team mistranslated and the button actually read “overload.”

While visiting Moscow on March 24, 2010, Hillary explained the Reset’s purpose: “Our goal is to help strengthen Russia.”

Pay of 1/2 million dollars per hour for Clinton’s speech. Pelosi was right after all. A $1000 increase really is a mere crumb.

So an article about the corrupt Obama Regime has "Putin Regime" in the title. Interesting.

Who thinks the US wouldn't buy anything useful some Russian or Chinese politician was willing to sell even though the seller was committing treason to sell? Yeah, Putin is really awful, he's a realist and we can't have realists instead of puppets running loose.

Old hat to the Clinton’s.
Before they facilitated technology transfers to China, the Chinese couldn’t launch anything.
After bags of Chinese cash to Clinton’s Bag Man McAwful, they can now target multiple US cities.

Well someone who formerly had quite the private business-interests friendship with Russia is doing this:

Rex Tillerson warns against China and Russia engagement in Americas

And Russia is to blame for he or anyone else being corrupt?

So, apply the same standards worldwide and rant about the US taking advantage of corrupt bastards running little African countries who sell what little their country has to US interests for way below what it's worth and take bribes from the US to fill their personal Swiss bank accounts. Yeah, evil US, buying what those bastards sell !!

I see a pattern to your thought process. It's:
Someone in the US is corrupt and treasonous !! LOOK, over there, it's a Russian they're selling to !!

LoL!

Whataboutism (also known as whataboutery) is a variant of the tu quoque logical fallacy that attempts to discredit an opponent's position by charging them with hypocrisy without directly refuting or disproving their argument, which is particularly associated with Soviet and Russian propaganda.

When criticisms were leveled at the Soviet Union, the Soviet response would be "What about..." followed by an event in the Western world...

You sure are good at that game you just described.

I know this because the subject is corrupt and traitorous US citizens in government and you constantly post "what about Russia" BS.

Good of you to add an "LoL" when you admitted to and described your own diversionary tactics.

If you truly cared about Russia and its people, you’d want them to have even just a smidgeon of the rule of Law and Freedom we have in this country. And this is why there’s been such an outmigration of Russians to Western countries and Israel lately. As a result the country is suffering from brain drain. Even Putin admits as much.

Our American founders weren’t delusional Marxists trying to create a perfect utopia. They knew the system they set up was for an imperfect people in an imperfect, fallen world.

Heaven is where God dwells.

Attempt heaven on earth (without God) as the Soviets did, and you get hell instead.
