Specifically, Gowdy cited re-entering the *judicial system* & said he enjoyed judicial system better than political system.
Which, since he also said he wanted to be a prosecutor, means job in a County, State, or Federal office. I don't think he would abruptly step down unless he had a job lined up.
Prediction. Gowdy will soon be either head of DOJ of very high up. I have never EVER been wrong about ANYTHING EVER.
