A few musings...
Tough loss, but the Eagles were the better team.
Nice of the head coaches to give the defensive coordinators the week off.
Nice to see ol’ Brett Favre’s backup QB win a SB.
Eagles will dominate the NFC East for the next few years (sorry Bend).
I believe the Pats are now tied with the Bills for most Super Bowls lost (I could be wrong but can’t think of any other team that has lost 4).
As a Boston sports fan, on to the next sport... the Celtics are rolling, the Bruins are rolling, and the Red Sox equipment truck leaves for Ft. Myers, FL today.
Thanks again Impy. Bender, get well.
Pats are tied with Denver with 5 losses (one in the 80’s, one in the 90’s, and three with Brady). Minnesota and the Bills have 4.
Brady is tied with Elway and Tarkenton for the second-most Super Bowl losses (3), behind Jim Kelly with 4.
Brady also has the worst Super Bowl winning percentage by any QB who has won 3 or more Super Bowls, behind Montana, Bradshaw, and Akiman. He is also 9th all time in win percentage for QB’s with multiple Super Bowl appearances.
Just goes to show you can prove about anything with statistics...
Broncos have lost four (to the Cowboys, the Giants, the Niners, and the Seahawks)...
Vikings have lost three or four (lost to the Chiefs, the Steelers, the Raiders)?
Gadzooks, Big! That, old man, we shall agree... to disagree about!
And rather than the East... you should worry about those Viqueens in your North.
