I didn't read the article, but did Ellen ask her what she put into the frame?
The right answer would be a lovely photo of the kids in the White House, as they're growing up and moving out, so it's nice to have the memory.
The wrong answer is to say she gave the frame to her daughter when she moved away, so she could have a picture of her parents.
The worst answer would be to say "nothing."
