He may very well still get the benefits, but the fact that his access is shut (if true) I think speaks volumes...at that level position, even on terminal leave, you’re still part of ongoing business that you need to help close out. Perhaps it was a negotiated surrender...you tell us what we need to know and you walk the first day you can with your benefits and don’t look back?
I agree he’s out and I don’t think he’s got anything to say
with what goes on. He gets the time which gets him to full
retirement or so some say. I assume he could take a check
for what for his accrued leave would be but time served seems
to the be the critical item for his retirement. I don’t know
and it’s speculation on other threads. Anyway he is now gone.
