Not a safe assumption.

The civil service is insanely well protected from consequences of anything they may do, no matter how vile.

Just one of those things that happened while Americans were being distracted by fake terrorism scares.

Nope! Numerous examples of Congree Criiters and others serving time in prison while they receive their pensions! Existing statutes governing retirement system would have to be changed, and the, they could not be applied retroactively...
