For a woman who cares about the development of her unborn child, the question isn't whether it is safe. The question is whether it is unsafe, or even whether it is likely that it is unsafe. Why take the chance? Why not just refrain from smoking during your pregnancy?

Also, if it is unsafe to smoke cigarettes when pregnant the why would it not also be unsafe to smoke marijuana when pregnant? Why do they even need a study?
