The planet is a big place with lotsa earthquakes.

I saw another video about all of this and as a resident of Cali I keep a close eye on earthquakes even though we get a lot of them in a given year.

Ring of Fire around the Pacific has become very active with a lot of 7.+ quakes. The fault zone up near the Pacific NW is due and based on interconnections of the crust plate fragments it could reverberate to Yellowstone or even New Madrid fault.

With the gravitational pull of the moon at an apex and other elements I would not be surprised if this happens as the moon will also be at its perigee which is when it is closest to the earth
