So far as prepositions (which is called participles—a sign of my tired mind) the sad fact of the matter is that people dangle them all of the time. Writing the sentence properly makes the writer sound pompous.
I guess if I were writing a Thesis, I would make sure it was correct. Free Republic? Huh...not so much.
That is a problem I have too (sounding pompous). It’s a balancing act. Onward and upwards.
