The Hollywood Reporter published a surprising story earlier this month about film studios turning away from movies about sex. A biopic about Hugh Hefner is stalled, gone for the moment is a James Franco film about a 15-year-old Russian prostitute, and a remake of A Star Is Born is being re-thought, too.

Might be time to see “The Great Escape” again.
All those electric poles, roads, mining operations, car factories... outdated masculinity
I will always be amazed how the oppressed party of the feminists never lifted a finger yet complain of male oppression
Yemen is an example of a country where men are into feminine laziness and their infrastructure is crumbling.
Not a big fan of war movies but surprisingly, really did like Dirty Dozen.
Well, hey, I just will continue to not bother going to theatres or watch their TV shows. I prefer TCM or the nostalgia channels or rummaging through the old vinyl shops in my locale (find some real treasures that way, lol).
Go back to liberal romances exploring navels and perversion.
Real people like action/adventure.
I hope hollywood does it. It will kill them dead.
Son, we live in a world that has walls. And those walls have to be guarded by men with guns. Whos gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Santiago, and you curse the marines. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know: That Santiagos death, while tragic, probably saved lives. And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves lives.
Yeah....well women sure related to that outdated masculinity on 9-11. Real men rushed in to save people, real men worked for days after trying to save those trapped.
Hollywood has brain rot
There are no John Waynes any more. Most male actors today could be replaced by women and the plot wouldnt change. Best example for me? Tom Cruise as Jack Reacher. Anyone familiar with the book series wouldnt have put a pretty little man in that role, someone like the younger Tom Selleck would have worked perfectly...but alas there seem to be a shortage of such actors even playing the part of real men.
Yemen also spends about 1/3rd of their GDP in Quat, better known in the tropics as bettlenut. It is supposed to be a milder drug that wildwood weed.
I’ll wager that Peter Moss doesn’t know what an “MOS” is.
Did you see Hacksaw Ridge? Shooter? Or any one of a dozen other movies in the past five years? Or do you rely on People Magazine?
Give the Left the chance and owning the latter would be considered Thoughtcrime, doubleplusungood, and legally punishable.
I own them too.
I wonder if Peter Moss has ever read the citation that accompanies the awarding of a Congressional Medal of Honor.I guess that to him (and others) they tend to glorify nothing more than “toxic masculinity”.
No...they rely on the Huffington Post,MSLSD and the DUmpster Kids website.
Exactly the attitude of the latest Star Wars movie.
The Great Escape is outstanding.Certain scenes in Private Ryan also work for me.
I just watched and enjoyed, “The Longest Day” this past week. Great flick!
