I know, tiki. I assume they got their money. I assume the SAUDIES got their money. I don’t reckon the U.S. got their money, or the Saudi’s probably wouldn’t have done the dirty work. They want the money. So Trump mighta said. You can have the money if you take them OUT. That’s leverage. But Mrsmith claims he knows we got the money. I find that odd and unlikely. The cryptic-ness of q’s statements allow people to interpret them as they want, as makes them happy. That’s not useful.

I just checked Alwaleed was arrested 11/4/17, way before the order.
Read it again, the EO says it is on and active as of that day 12-21-2017
It is up and running now and I will tell you well north of 200 C level people have resigned including Eric Schmidt the same day the EO came out!

Some supporting terrorist activity act was cited as the legal authority. No mention of the E.O. but they wouldn't would they. They would be trying to keep that low profile.
I just believe the Donald made a deal about the money. The Saudis weren't about to let the U.S. seize Saudi assets. Donald gave his support in exchange for U.S. assets. And Donald didn't use the E.O. to snatch international assets. Win/Win for both sides. Split the money, Prince gets to be the cheese, and the Donald takes the Saudies out of the big game.
That's why I theorized the E.O. was used as leverage rather than the reason for the purge and seizures. All about the duckets. Y'folla?
