That sounds like a good interpretation to me, Bagster. I wonder if it’s leverage (Info he has that would destabilize UK society) or truce to fight a greater threat than each “ally” poses to the other.

I’ve been wondering the same thing about Putin. Remember that meeting among heads of state wherein Trump and Putin met in private for the first time. They became so enraptured by their conversation that they left the other sovereigns waiting and wouldn’t break off their conversation; Melania was sent into that private meeting twice to try the get the two men to rejoin the scheduled events with the others.
Putin was asked about his meeting with Trump. He seemed amazed and impressed, said Trump was “not like he is shown on television” and that Trump was incisive, analytical and some other words of praise. I think Trump and Putin agreed on some key issues re the swamp via Trump’s intellect and presentation of (some of his plans). Not to say they are buddies now - but there are a few signs that they have some common ground in some areas of the war against the swamp.

I think your interpretation works well with Trump’s MO.

There is room for humor in the world, if you would leave some for us instead of keeping it all in your arsenal!

Here's what I think in my meandering mind.

I'm sure there's a certain amount of leverage Trump can use with May. We ARE the big boys, after all. But I think it's more a case of giving her cover against her own government and people.

She really needs support standing up against them. It's too easy in England now to go with the multi-cultural BS narrative. Have you seen youtubes of those dumb Brit shows like "Question and Answer Time" or whatever it's called? And others? Those people got it BAD. I don't know how a patriotic Brit can stand it.

I believe May has to tow the line for the most part but she would love to be Margaret Thatcher to the Donald's Reagan. I hope they can pull it off.

Putin, I'm still working on. He and Russia are a cipher to me. I'll get back to ya on that one.

Yes, part of Trump's support is cooperation on "key national security issues" or whatever that tweet said. It includes the whole NSA/MI6 deal. What other issues would be worth mentioning. Terrorism, yes, that too.

On PUtin. I think he praised Trump like that because he was expecting a dumbass like Obama or Bush and he got a strong, brilliant wheeler dealer and a true leader. That had to have set him aback a bit. He was used to pushing us around or bribing us a la Clinton.
