The Sessions Justice Department is calling on House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes (R-CA) to allow the FBI to review the shocking, FISA abuse memo to ensure its release will not harm national security.
ABC News reports:
The Justice Department is urging the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, whose staff has compiled a secret memorandum purporting to show shocking political bias within the FBI, to give the department a chance to see the memo and warning that first sharing information from the memo with reporters would be unprecedented and dangerous.
Furthermore, the department said certain allegations of impropriety are completely unfounded.
We believe it would be extraordinarily reckless for the Committee to disclose such information publicly without giving the Department and the FBI the opportunity to review the memorandum and to advise the [committee] of the risk of harm to national security and to ongoing investigations that could come from the public release, a top Justice Department official wrote in a letter today to Rep. Devin Nunes, R-California.

Cmon man, a game like this is played for the long haul, not short term. Look how much panic has already set in just talking about the memo. As more and more leaks the memo will probably not even have to be released. Think of it as a squirrel the Dems and the media are chasing over there while the game is being played over here...patience...
Grassley was required to show his summary to the FBI and of course they cited classified info, regardless of the fact that it was openly discussed on unsecure phone lines and in an unsecured area. The FBI could cite the weather forecast as a matter of National Security if they so choose. FUFBI.
They probably shouldnt have even mentioned the memo until they were ready to move.
Absolutely correct. They should have had it cued up and launched before the opposition could mobilize. With each passing day its credibility gets trashed and the likelihood of its release gets smaller.
Part of the game.
Are they afraid the people will riot if they know how the powers that be abuse technology for their own gain?
See? Dreamin2 must be a superswamper itself.
Sure sounds like he IS part of the deep state. Yet, he remains in his job.
Absolutely, and he should be! Because he has left these criminals in their jobs in the FBI, when they had all the exact same evidence that Nunes now has, but did nothing but try to cover it all up.
As I’ve said on countless posts...Sessions is as dirty as the rest of them. He wormed his way into the administration to provide cover for the deep state.
Because he’s a former Senator
Why dont sharks eat lawyers?
Professional courtesy
Then just leave. Bye
;)
Would it be alright with Sessions, if there were no lawyers in the Legislative or the Executive branches? Probably not. It appears that many judicial people are very excited about something.
“warning that first sharing information from the memo with reporters would be unprecedented and dangerous.”
Yeah... that would be like releasing a fake Russia dossier about a President to the media, and then going to that President later to “warn” him that it’s about to be in the press. (blackmail attempt)
That would be unprecedented and dangerous alright. Nothing but a mutinous treasonous no-good low-life un-American traitor would do that.
Thanks for proving my point. You have been very helpful.
The memo is part of the sting. People are wired and their conversations are being taped.
“Baloney....Sessions has a reason....
Patience Grasshopper.”
Oh, i heard about this. This is that 3D chess game again. The one where we always look like we are taking it right up the wazzoo again, but ACTUALLY, we are tricking them and then someday.... in the distant future, we will have them right where we want them and we’ll say something scornful to them, and they will be so burned!
