Many of us are doing so in coordination with our physicians. My GI doctor is totally on board with the supplements I take to help manage my Crohn’s. I also take a prescription, but the supplements mean I don’t have to take as much of it.
You would do well to consult with a Naturopath. GIs don’t understand the gut.
