My Grandparents were poor and once a month the commodity truck would deliver powdered eggs, powdered milk, flour, butter, cheese and horsemeat to my Grandparents. It sustained them and many other poor people. I ate their horsemeat that was canned like spam fried like Spam and it was decent.
