Nothing in the law or in Senate rules allows the Governor to replace him. The fault in entirely with the Senator.
The Governor of AZ is going to appoint another Amnesty Senator to replace McCain.
Right now the AZGOP is using Joe Arpaio’s ego to crowd the field in the Senate primary to replace Flake in order to sneak McSally past Kelli Ward, who was the reason Flake is quitting.
They want to prevent the citizens from electing anyone who would side with US and the rule of law.
The Bush League Republicans have been doing it for decades.
