From what I can gather, this was a simple straight-forward resolution. Turtle wants to restore all funding for the gov’t before he votes on this individual item.

I could be wrong. Won’t be the first time. I was once wrong back in ‘92.

The party whip is supposed to control strategy. Democrats have an easy time of it, as they seldom go against what they are told to do. (This is one reason why voting for the man over the party is a mistake.) Getting Republicans on board for a single strategy is like herding cats with an air horn. The only time I can remember when they were all on board was the Obamacare vote. Considering some of the RINO’s that was astonishing.

Is that the time you thought you were wring and then discovered that you were mistaken about being wrong?

Happened to me a time or two....
